The Mada veedhi video that went viral across Mylapore, the country and perhaps to Mylaporeans outside is still doing the rounds 12 hours after the situation was shot.
Union finance minister Nirmala Seetharaman stopped on South Mada Street, Mylapore got out of her car, walked down to some vegetable hawkers, chatted with them and then bought some vegetables, picking some up of her choice.
Passerby said hello to her while security men kept watch.
The video went viral, and is now turning into memes.
