To celebrate the Navarathri season, Sundaram Finance hosted a series of mike-less concerts for three days consecutively last weekend.  Kamakshi presented the first kutcheri’ on September 30, Dathaterya Mahesh did so on October 1 and S. Shwetha was on stage on October 2.

All these concerts happened at the Chess Square inside Nageswara Rao Park, from 7 am to 8 am.

Kamakshi, is currently undergoing training under R S Jayalakshmi. She was accompanied by Avantika Saravanan on violin and Vidwan Umashankar on mridangam. ( the team is seen in the photo above)

Dathaterya Mahesh is the disciple of Dr Nandita Ravi. Accompanying him was Bargava Vignesh on violin who is the great grandson of the violin legend Chittoor Gopalakrishan. He is currently learning violin from his grandfather, C G Kumaresan and his father C.K Vijayaraghavan. Kalai Ila Mani was on the mridangam. ( photo below)

S. Shwetha is the great granddaughter of the great Palghat Mani Iyer. She is learning music under the guidance of her grandfather Palghat T R Rajaram. Accompanying her were Haritha Narayanan on the violin and Sannath Parameswara on mridangam. ( the first photo featured here)
