The 27th of November, marked the beginning of Advent in the Church. And CSI Saint Luke’s Church in Mandaveli rang in the season of Advent with Jinglezzz, a ecumenical carol singing event at its parish hall in the evening.
12 choirs from across Chennai took part in this event.
There were teams from CSI Good Shepherd Church, Alwarpet and from CSI Wesley Church in Royapettah. The other teams were independent choirs from various parts of Chennai. The event was organised by W. Yudha, the choir master of the parish.
The event commenced with a prayer by Rev. G. Dhanasekaran, presbytor.
Secretary of the pastorate committee Moses Raja Cecil said that this event is held every year but due to the pandemic, it was not held for the past couple of years.
