Kalpagam Sekar, longtime resident of Mandavelipakkam and R A Puram passed away on November 5. She was 62.
She worked for some years in Indian Express newspaper, Chennai in its advertisement department.
She was a member of Srinivasa Ladies Club, R A Puram. Her brother K. M. Sundaram said she was deeply involved in the activities of this club.
The current secretary of club said: “We cannot forget her caring, warm manner, her commitment and dedication to work when she held the posts of secretary and treasurer of our club over the decades.”
She was married to Sekar, chartered accountant, and the family lived in Trustpakkam South for over three decades.
