Imagine a special get together of college students who studied at college some 60 years ago.
There was lots of conversation, hugs, light moments and exchange of campus anecdotes at a recent meet where 40 alumni members of College of Engineering, Guindy, came together for a party held at the Alumni Club – this is an annual get-together.
Joining the college in 1962 and graduating in 1967, this group is now scattered and its members live in the city, in India and some outside.
The group has celebrated its silver jubilee and golden jubilee reunions in grand style, says member Augustine, a resident of Mandavelipakkam. “However Covid prevented our annual reunions the past two years and so this one was special,” he adds.
