Some of the most colourful, large and intricately designed kolams and rangolis were seen at dawn on Pongal festival as one went around the inner streets of Mylapore.
In some places, these kolams / rangolis had been drawn at midnight; in others we saw women giving the finish touch to their work of art.
Mylapore Times gifted its unique souvenir of Mylapore themed ink illustrations to the women who had designed the most unique kolams / rangolis.
