Traffic Police have taken one more measure now to tackle the slow movement of vehicles from the Adyar side into the Mylapore zone.
Tankers, lorries and vans will not be allowed to take the Thiru Vi Ka bridge road side between 8 and 11 am and will need to turn left into Gandhi Nagar and move towards Kottur side.
This measure is being taken because the traffic movement is slowing down due to Chennai Metro work on the Adyar and R K Mutt Road side.
