When Chennai Metro (CMRL) shut off Luz zone for access towards the Luz Circle, their senior officers assured people that pathways would be created for simple access to both sides.
But it never happened .
On the other hand, a parking bay formed and the load here created chaos in the Rangaswamy Studio area.
Moreover, CMRL has erected a large structure which looks like a barricade and has become a hindrance to both commercial people and shoppers in this region
Here, some people who were carrying bags and loads and walking havetripped and fallen, said witnesses here.
This barricade had been erected in front of Penguin Xerox shop.
Says Raghuvaran, manager of this shop, “This structure hinders the movement of people and those who want to use the services of shops here. We are already suffering and here is one more headache.”
He asks CMRL to remove the structure permanently.
