On the occasion of Panguni Shravanam, the annual Kumbabhisekam day, 1008 sangha abhisekam was performed today at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple.
Notwithstanding the surprise showers on last Saturday afternoon, devotees gathered in good numbers and sat in front of the Navarathri Mandapam to watch the Abhisekam performed by hereditary priest E Venkatasubramanian Shivachariar.
