Mini bus between Central railway station and Mylapore packed only during peak hour time

How useful is the MTC’s mini bus service on route S21C- from Kapali Temple tank to Central Railway Station?

( This was a report on it filed in April 2022 – https://www.mylaporetimes.com/2022/04/mtc-starts-mini-bus-service-linking-mylapore-to-central-station/)

10 services are being operated each day.
It is the only bus from Mylapore that runs through Chintadripet before it touches the station premises.
MTC says that while the bus is packed most mornings from the station end, the load is light during the non peak hours.
Bus conductor Devarajan who was on this route on Wednesday morning told Mylapore Times that rail passengers from Central Station and from the city’s suburban terminal board this bus in good numbers.
“It was packed from Central this morning”, he said.
While the peak hour service carries many regular customers, the response has been dull during the non peak hours.
There have been calls from Mylaporeans to MTC, asking it to operate a regular service to Egmore railway station.
