From one violin vidwan to two famed violinists.
That is what took place Sunday evening at Arkay Centre in Luz; violinist M. Chandrasekaran hosts an annual awards event where the Charubala Mohan Trust he heads recognises senior Carnatic music artistes.
On Sunday, March 5, the Trust honoured the recently Sangita Kalanidhi-decorated violin duo, Lalgudi G J R Krishnan and his sister Vijayalakshmi. Each was presented a plaque and a citation on this occasion.
Thereafter, the duo performed a concert.
