The loud protests against power outage, two days ago, made by residents of KVB Gardens, a densely habited colony on Kamaraj Salai in R. A. Puram’s south got some attention.
The Mylapore MLA had to act. He got the electricity supply minister Senthil Balaji down to the area and the two, with local people walked around to get on-ground feedback on the power supply problems.
The minister is said to have promised to follow-up on this issue.
