Despite hurdles and odds, these students of St Anthony’s scored well. Plus Two exams.

Anusuya S. is the school topper in the Plus Two Board exams at St. Anthony’s Girls Hr Sec. School, R. A. Puram. She scored 575/ 600 marks. (Her photo is the first here.)
Her mother is a housewife and her father’s a welder.
The girl said that despite financial hurdles that the family faces, she focused on her studies and the help rendered by her mother kept her going. She now intends to pursue a course in B. Com and get admitted to a good college. She resides in Mandaveli.
Preethi R. is the school second. She comes from a middle class family. Her mother is a housewife and her father, a sales manager. She scored 100 in Accountancy and Economics. She secured 571/600 marks.
“There’s a financial crisis in my family. I understood my father’s financial problem and studied hard to do well, “ said Preethi.
Harini S. M. is the school third. Her father works as a transport office clerk and her mother works in a pharmacy. She secured 559/600 marks.  Said this girl, “I faced many struggles while studying including a financial crisis but my father supported me a lot in my studies.”
The science stream topper is Harshadha G. ( second photo, seen above). Her father is an electrician and her mother is a housewife. She secured  536/600 marks.
