The Mylapore Academy and its Dhanvanthri Vaidyasala Charitable Dispensary in Mandaveli is hosting an event to commemorate the public service rendered by late Dr. R. Viswanathan, well-known dentist and community service leader and former Dean, Ragas Dental College and Hospital.
He established the dental clinic at this dispensary in Mandaveli ( Sringeri Mutt Rd.; opp. MRTS station)
The event is at the Academy premises on June 24, 10.45 am onwards. Justice S. Jagadeesan (president, The Mylapore Academy) and Dr. K. Ranganathan (Prof. and HoD, Dept. of oral and maxillofacial pathology, Ragas Dental College and Hospital) are key guests at the event.
Dr. K. S. Vaijayanthi Mala, a dental surgeon, is to be felicitated with ‘Dr R Viswanathan Memorial Award’ for excellence in community service.
