NAC Jewellers is 50. Bust of founder unveiled at Mylapore store. Donations committed. Shopping offers follow.

NAC Jewellers, a leading family jewellery chain of stores with its base in Mylapore, launched its 50th anniversary with its first event on June 21 evening at the store on North Mada Street.

In honour of the founder’s legacy, the guests at this event unveiled a bust of the man who started this business – Anjaneyulu Chetty – at the store.

K Doraisami, senior advocate was the guest along with Ishari K. Ganesh, founder and Chancellor –
Vels University.  Present were Anantha Padmanabhan, chairman – NAC Jewellers and Anantha
Ramanujam and Arjun Varadaraj, executive directors of this business.

NAC Jewellers says it will also be contributing to charitable causes with a donation of Rs.50 lakhs,
including a donation of Rs.5 lakhs to Adyar Cancer Institute in Chennai, Rs.5 Lakhs to
Sankara Nethralaya and the remaining Rs.40 lakhs will be distributed to worthy organisations
over the course of this year.

As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations, NAC Jewellers will host the Golden Week from
July 1  to 8 fe, for shoppers, featuring activities and games across all its stores.

Long-time patrons are to be rewarded through a loyalty program featuring offers and gifts.

NAC Jewellers has  also launched the Maharani Collection to mark the milestone of its journey.
