A sale of a variety of Indian silks and handlooms has opened this morning at Kamadhenu Kalyana Mantapam in Luz, opposite The Mylapore Club. It is promoted by the ministry of textiles of the government of India.
It will be on till July 24, 11 am to 8 pm.
Over three dozen stalls have been set up here by weavers and sellers from all parts of the country, showcasing natural fibre handlooms, pure soilks, fabric, suits, duppatas and other accessories.
There are discounts on offer too.
