Children’s Garden School team won the annual Madras Quiz for Thamizh medium schools in connection with Madras Day celebrations held on August 19.
Over 50 students took part in this quiz which was held at the Ranade Library in Luz, this space provided by SINA as a collaborator. Mylapore Times organised this event; it has been doing so for many years now in August.
The members of the team from Children’s Garden School were S. Praveen and V. Nandhini.
The second prize went to Rani Meyyammai Girls School; the students being V. Elavarasi & D. Deepika.
The third prize went to Raja Muthiah School, the team of D. Andrew and M. Muthukrishnan. The team from San Thome School was placed fourth.
These four teams qualified for the final after all the participants took part in the preliminary round. The quiz was conducted by Revathi R.
