The Mylapore unit of Thamizhnadu Brahmin Association has provided educational assistance to students of city schools and colleges recently.
The formal funding was made on August 10 at Lady Sivaswami Ayyar Girls Hr. Sec.School, Mylapore.
Present at the event were guests B. Ramanakumar, G. Rajesh Narayan, Madhan and Hariharan
K. Baskaran, district secretary and Lalitha and Padma, joint secretaries of the Mylapore unit handled this project
An amount of Rs. 8,20,000 was disbursed to 112 beneficiaries; these included the differently abled.
