Longtime Mylaporean Rama Ramesh, a school teacher passed away on October 24 after a brief illness.
She was 69 and is survived by her husband, a son and a daughter.
A student of Rosary Matriculation School, San Thome, Rama graduated from Queen Mary’s College, Mylapore and did her MA and B Ed studies in Annamalai University.
She taught in Adarsh Primary and Secondary Schools in Royapettah for nearly 20 years.
The twelfth day ceremony is being observed at 89, Luz Church Road, Mylapore on Nov. 4.
