Chennai Corporation has started hosting medical camps intended for children who will be treated here for illnesses that may arise from the prevailing civic and weather conditions.
This morning ( Dec.13), a camp was launched at the GCC urban health centre on C P Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet. Health minister Ma Subramaniam was present as was the MLA, Dha Velu.
Children who are in the age group of 9 months to 15 year olds can avail of this treatment which is a simple injection.
This service will be available to the public in the mornings till Dec 30 at all GCC urban health centres.
