Ward 125 councillor Revathi of the DMK arranged utility goods for the rain affected families in Nochikuppam zone off Marina Loop Road two days ago.
Mats, bedsheets and covers were handed over to a few hundred families here.
Mylapore MLA Dha Velu was present.
The donation was made by the nuns and community of Holy Cross College, Tiruchi. The team transported the goods in their college bus and distributed them outside the kuppam campus two days ago. The councillor networked with the college for this donation.
