Senior students of St. Antony’s, P. S. Hr. Sec. schools get free cycles given by state

There was some buzz and excited chatter on the campus of St. Antony’s Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Mandaveli, on
Tuesday,  December 12 as students of Std. XI (2023- 2024) received the cycles given free by the state government.

The symbolic presentations were made by Dha. Velu, MLA, Mylapore and by Amirda Varshini, ward 126 councillor in the presence of school Headmistress Rev. Sr. Elizabeth Rani and the staff.

The MLA appreciated the Headmistress and staff for their efforts in educating the girls and advised the students
not to stop with their schooling but join college and pursue higher education.

Earlier, a set of senior students at P. S. Higher Secondary School in Mylapore also got the free cycles, with the Mylapore MLA formally launched the presentation and presenting the cycles.  The school’s Headmistress and staff were present.
