Mylapore Fine Arts Club ( MFAC) will launch its December Season festival at its premises this evening with a formal event where two artistes are to be honoured – violinist J G R Krishnan and dance teacher Sheela Unnikrishnan.
The event starts at 5 pm.
Sheela Unnikrishnan’s new dance production will be staged after the formal event.
Tomorrow, the December Season fest of Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha will be launched at Vidya Bharathi Hall on Bheemana Garden Street, Mylapore ( off R H Road).
A host of awards are to be presented to artistes at this event which will be followed by a bhajans concert by O S Arun.
