The annual Dhavanotsavam at Sri Vedantha Desikar Temple, Mylapore is from February 22 to 24.
There will be Thirumanjanam in the morning at 9.30 a.m.. and concerts in the evening at 6.30 p.m.and the
Perumal will be in the silver oonjal in the four kaal mandapam.
There will also be music concerts from Feb.22 to 25, starting 6.30 pm.
Feb 22 – mandolin by U Rajesh
Feb.23 – vocal music by Dr K N Renganatha Sarma
Feb.24 – Thyagaraja Aradhana – by all artistes
Feb.25 – violin by A. Kanyakumari
On Feb.24, the Thyagaraja aradhana will be held with the participation of a large number of Carnatic music vidwans and vidushis who will sing the composer’s famed pancharatna kritis.
