This Saturday evening ( April 20), at Narada Gana Sabha’s auditorium on TTK Road, the family of wellknown late film director K. Subrahmanyam is celebrating his 120th birth anniversary.
There are a string of events – formal speeches by the chief guests, awards to eminent artistes, release of two e-books on Subrahmanyam and screening of a docu film on him, produced by Krishnaswamy Associates.
The event is hosted by dancer and guru Padma Subrahmanyam and her institution, Nrithyodaya; the film director was Padma’s father.
