TN Brahmin Association ( THAMBRAS)’ Mylapoe Unit released the Krothi year panchangam at an event held on April 13.
B. Ramana Kumar, president of the unit led the event that was held at Lady Sivaswamy Ayyar Girls Higher Secondary School, Mylapore .
The event started with devotional songs sung by members of Sri Annamacharya Kalaikoodam headed by Meena Lochani .
The panchangam was released by Sridhar, former TV news presenter on DD and some private channels, and received by Dr.V R G Raj, advisor to the THAMBRAS’ Mylapore Unit.
Present were Rajesh Narayan, K. Baskar, Abirami and P V S Athreyan and Reguram.
At this event, the Mayilai Poompavai Trust donated hearing aids to 22 college students – this was done
by donors Srikanth [one of the trustee of Lady Sivasamy Ayyar School], R. Ashok and Kaishik Sarma.
