Book on ‘Taitriya Upanishad’ to be released at temple. March 9 evening

‘Taitriya Upanishad’, a book is being released on March 9, at an event that starts at
3 p.m at Sri Vedanta Desikar Devasthanam, Mylapore.

The special guests at this book release are  U. Ve. Dr. Villur Karunakarachariar  (presidential award recipient and eminent scholar ) and U. Ve. Navalpakkam Dr. Vasudevachariar Swami (a distinguished scholar).

A media release on the event states – This work presents a contemporary interpretation of the commentary by Sri Ranga Ramanuja Muni, the 17th-century scholar of Vishistha dwaita sidhanta. The Upanishads, foundational texts of Hindu philosophy, explore the relationship between human consciousness and Brahman, the universal cosmic force. This book makes these profound teachings accessible to lay readers.

  1. Last three weeks your circulation department failed yet again to reach the Mylapore Times weekly to the residents at Luz Church Road 2nd Street. Ch4. This is despite many complaints made in the past. I am sure the people responsible don’t care for the readers nor loss of potential revenue to advertisers in print edition. Hope the circulation is restored from next week at least and we wouldn’t need to raise this repeatedly.

    1. MT Circulation staffer visited the street and found MT is circulated in the apartments there. We could not access hiouses since they were locked / people were not around. Please mail us your name, address and contact for more help – mail to – mylaporetimes@gmail.com and mention the nature of issue.
