Abiramapuram-based M. K. Sudarshan has just published his new book which, he says, is a biographical montage of Rt Hon’ble V. S. Srinivasa Sastri (1869-1946).
Srinivasa Sastri was a prominent Indian politician, administrator, educator, orator, and a prominent India independence activist. He was a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi.
He was widely acclaimed for his mastery of the English language and his eloquent speeches; people called him the ‘silver-tongued orator’. He was conferred the British honorary title ‘The Right Honourable’ (Rt Hon) as a member of the Privy Council of the United Kingdom.
The book is being launched at an event supported by Chennai International Centre on Saturday , November 8 at the Tagore auditorium of NFDC, 6 p.m. ( The venue is located inside the campus of TN Music College, off D G S Dinakaran Road, R A Puram)
The guests at the launch are former chief election commissioner, T. S. Krishnamurthy, advocate-general P. S. Raman and writer-editor S. R. Madhu.
