The (HE)Art Beat Cultural Foundation of Dr ‘Ghatam’ S. Karthick is hosting a two-day music festival at Arkay Centre, Luz. Nov.10 and 11.
The Nov.10 event starts with the ‘Saharudaya’ awards presentation – the awardees are – N Sundar / morsing and tabla, Dr. Papanasam S Sethuraman / kanjira. The chief guest is vocalist Rama Varma.
Later, at 6.45 p.m. is a concert featuring Dr. S. Ghatam Karthick’s Creations.
On Nov.11, 10 a.m. onwards is a lec-dem on Dr. S Karthick’s Creations’ musical, rhythmic and lyrical aspects – by Dr Baby Sreeram.
At 6 p.m., Bharathanatyam recital featuring Dr. S Karthick’s shabdan, padham and tillana. By K. Sravishta At 6.45 p.m., a concert featuring Dr. S. Karthick’s krithis and instrumental pieces featuring Palakkad Sreeram (vocal and flute) and artistes.
