The cyber crime awareness programme hosted by The Kalyana Nagar Association which was postponed is now going to be held on Dec.7 at 6.30 p.m. at The Kalyana Nagar Association Hall No.29, T. M. S. Salai, Mandavelipakkam, Chennai 600 028.
The event is open to all.
The talk is to be presented by V. Kabaleeswaran who is an expert in cyber security and hosts talks to sensitise senior citizens on the phone-based scans and frauds taking place and how we can avoid being a victim and save ourselves from losing loads of money.
Says Kabaleeswaran, ” I come across lots of educated people and even bank officers who have lost money to online scams. I encourage young adults to educate their parents and seniors on dangers that unknown calls and messages pose everyday.”
This programme was scheduled to be held on Nov.30 but was cancelled due to heavy rain and cyclone weather.
