Imagine being greeted by a colourful kolam around a garbage bin in your street.
Well, the staff of Urbaser Sumeet, the waste clearance agency which works in Mylapore zone, in one area of R A Puram, continued a practice that has been carried out for Pongal.
It designed large themed kolams around the large garbage bins placed at street corners in R K Nagar in R A Puram. The theme also included a Pongal greeting.
In doing so, Urbaser staff also shared a message – keeping public spaces clean makes them beautiful too.
