‘Bombay’ Gnanam presents Tamil play themed on saint Purandaradasar. March 2 to 8

Mahalakshmi Ladies Drama Group (MLDG) is staging a Tamil musical play themed on saint Purandaradasar.
He is called sangitha pitha mahar, the father of music.
He laid down the system of musical notes for Carnatic music.
This musical play titled “Bhagavan Sri Panduranganin Purandararadasar” has been written, directed and produced by the founder of MLDG, Bombay Gnanam, a veteran artiste who is involved in Tamil theatre, films and television serials. (seen in the photo)
This play, with many shows, is open to public for free and will be staged in Mylapore Fine Arts Club( MFAC) sabha hall, Mylapore from March 2 to 7, daily starting at 6.45 pm and on March 8 at 10am.
