For this summer season, fresh stock of organically-grown mangoes from the farms of Erode and Coimbatore are sold at Uyir Organic Farmers Market in East Abiramapuram,
Alphonso, Banganapalli, Imam Pasand, Kesar and Senthuram are the varieties. Imam Pasand is the costliest – at Rs.110 per kilo.
Several seasonal fruits like Muskmelon, Jackfruit and Watermelon are also sold here.
