Mandaveli Raja Street RWA members met the Mylapore MLA and state minister, P. Venkataramanan Wednesday evening at his office in Alwarpet.
Residents thanked the MLA for closing the TASMAC shop at Mandavali which had affected the residents a lot.
Thefts around Raja Street and notorious activities in T P Scheme Road area were pointed out to him.
Other issues raised by the community were the haphazard low hanging internet cables posing a risk for motorists and a request for speed breakers in the local streets.
