Mylapore Times Charitable Trust ( MTCT) has donated funds to the first set of eligible students who are moving into Plus Two studies. The past week The Children’s Garden School’s 5 students received a total of Rs. 50,000 and St. Antony’s Girls School’s two students received Rs. 18,000.
This is possible from donations from Mylaporeans to fund the studies of students in local schools for 2026 – ‘27.
Every year, some 30 students who pass out from Class 10 and Class 12 with good marks and wish to move up and need some funds, apply to the Trust.
The Trust is in need of more funds as applications stream in. Recent donors – Anonymous donor/ Nungambakkam: Rs. 5000; Ram Kumar – Rs. 5000 and T. Ramam / Mandaveli – Rs 5000.
