The senior women of Ragamalika Apartments in Mandaveli celebrated Chithra pournami by gathering on the terrace of one block for a special occasion which ended with dinner.
They took turns to sing songs on the moon. Then followed some fun games and the popular Anthakshari.
Then, it was time to watch the moon closely and share anecdotes.
Dinner was pot-luck – each person brought different items. So, 20 items on the table.
This group plans special occasions, some hosted outdoors, and enjoys them.
