Investiture ceremony held at St. Raphael’s Girls HS School

The Investiture ceremony of St. Raphael’s Girls Higher Secondary School, Mylapore, was held on June 23 at the school campus. The programme commenced with a prayer song and welcome address, followed by flag hoisting, a march-past by the students, the swearing-in ceremony, and the distribution of badges to the newly elected student leaders.
A skit titled “Vidhaigal Virutchangalaga” was also presented by the students.
The event was conducted in the presence of correspondent Sister Amalorpavamary, Headmistress Sister Mano, faculty members, students, and the chief guest, Krishnamoorthy, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mylapore district.
Krishnamoorthy spoke on the importance of discipline, women’s safety, self-confidence, and responsible citizenship.
The newly elected School Pupil Leader, S. Samiksha Sumi, and Assistant School Pupil Leader, A. Mahadhi, expressed their gratitude and commitment to serving the student community.
Headmistress Sister Mano said, “Parents, teachers, and society must work together for the welfare of children. Only through cooperation can we nurture students and help them become responsible citizens of the future.”
Following the ceremony, an orientation programme was conducted in the school auditorium for the newly elected leaders.
