At this church, fellowship groups host games and sell food to raise funds for mission work

The community at CSI Church of the Good Shepherd in Mylapore led by pastor Rev Manuel Ebenezer had their Mission Festival celebration on Sunday, July 12 at the church campus.

After the service that Sunday morning, the fellowship groups of the parish set up stalls to sell snacks, organise games and a lucky dip.
Home-made dIshes like idlis and chicken curry, idiyappam and chicken kurma, ice cream and rose milk sold hot that day.  Families spent from their pocket to prepare the food and money made from sales was donated.
The proceeds from the Mission Festival event will go towards missionary work of the CSI diocese.
