In connection with Education Development Week, an event was held at the CSI School for the Hearing Impaired in San Thome, on July 16.
This initiative was supported by PayPal and covered students of local area schools.
The general secretary of TN Youth Congress Aravind Madhesh and member of parliament for Kanniyakumari, Vijay Vasanth participated and handed over support to the beneficiaries.
The support included 25 bicycles for students, 50 school kits and 10 sewing kits for women.
Ward 126 councillor Amirda Varshini of the Congress also participated.
