Dr M Balamuralikrishna Memorial Trust and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is hosting an event at Bhavans in Mylapore this July23 evening to honour and present a title to the Bharatanatyam dancers and gurus, Shanta and V P Dhananjayan.
The event celebrates the music of the late maestro Dr. Balamuralikrishna.
Mylapore MLA and state minister P. Venkataramanan is the chief guest and vidwan Dr T V Gopalakrishnan is a special guest.
Later, Balamuralikrishna’s sishyas, the Krishnakumar couple and their sishyas will present a theme concert.
