Chennai Traffic Police seem to have ignored appeals made by residents of Singaravelar Road ( Loop Road) off the Marina as well as the local ward councillor to install a speed breaker at a point outside the gate of the GCC playground of San Thome.
Councillor Amirda Varshini recently shared photos of two accidents that had taken place in this area and said there is a need to have a speed breaker.
She said that she has presented the issue of the police and GCC but nothing has been done this far.
Since all forms of vehicles were directed to use this road from the north-to-south direction, traffic has been steady and heavy.
