Rajiv Krishnamurthy of Citadel Fine Pharmaceuticals, a passionate traveller and a keen wildlife enthusiast and photographer, passed away on September 7. He was 69.
He was a resident of Janaki Avenue, Abiramapuram.
Rajiv studied at Vidya Mandir, Mylapore and continued his studies at Vivekananda College.
He worked all his life at the family’s business – Citadel Fine Pharmaceuticals.
“His passion for travel and adventure took him to all corners of the country and the world,” his family said.
He was also a keen wildlife enthusiast and deeply interested in photography, His other obsession was Carnatic music.
“Whatever he was interested in, he involved many people from his expansive family and friends circles. His personality was blunt and dependable, maintaining deep friendships across his life,” his family said.
Said well-known music artiste, author and activist T. M. Krishna in a tribute : ‘Rajiv was an unusual man – loud, opinionated, boisterous, generous and full of life. He brought people together, he was impatient, he loved a good laugh and never placed himself in front.’
