Sprouts Montessori High School hosts event where school teams worked on ‘food business’ ideas and presented them

The third edition of Sprouts IDEA Tank, held on September 9, hosted by Sprouts Montessori High School on Luz Avenue was an occasion for children to let their ideas come alive when they are given the opportunity to imagine, create, work together and present their ideas.

This year’s theme, “Foodpreneurs: Flavours that Sell,” brought together teams from 11 schools, with
students turning simple food ideas into interesting business propositions.

That afternoon, restaurateur Manoj Padmanaban and Prof. Pulkit Marwaha joined the teams to listen to and engage with the youth.

Teams were invited to pitch their ideas and expand on them. The best were to be rewarded.

Teams of Vruksha Montessori, Sprouts Montessori High School and Akshar Arbol emerged as the winners.

KC High received the award for ideas of innovation, Sprouts’ second team was recognised for its marketing plans, and DAV Boys’ team from Gopalapuram received the award for the most cost-effective budget.

The host school said in a note – experiences like these give children an opportunity to think
independently, work with others, make decisions, solve problems and communicate their
ideas with confidence.
