Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations’ city unit celebrated Vinayaka Chaturthi with a two-day festival that involved the youth.
On September 13, ‘Sundaram’ in R. A. Puram, the headquarters for Sathya Sai activities, hosted an interactive drawing workshop – 120 children learned to sketch lord Ganesha. They also sat for a talk on ways to curate eco-friendly festivals.
The celebrations continued on September 14 at Navashakthi Vigneswarar Temple, R.A. Puram, where Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas students presented an evening of Vedam chanting, devotional dance, Ganesha pancharathnam and bhajans.
