Savitri Ammal Oriental Higher Secondary School, Mylapore celebrated its 68th Annual Day on 23rd October 23 at the school’s TAG auditorium.
The chief guest was Anand Srinivasan, noted economist and author. He contributed 450 piggy banks to the school children to encourage them to sustain the savings habit.
The event was attended by the managing Trust’s president N. Gopalswami, IAS (retd), Trust Sscretary V. Srikanth, school committee president Bhamathi Balasubramaniam, school secretary Dr. T. Suresh, school committee members Justice Prabha Sridevan and Subha Vaidyanathan besdies others.
