Nine Salesian priests who served at St. Bedes Anglo Indian Hr Sec School in San Thome at some point of time are celebrating milestones in their priestly journey will be honoured by the management of St. Bede’s on Saturday October 10.
The event will be held at St. Bede’s auditorium and begin with Holy Mass at 10 a.m. Then follows a cultural programme and a felicitation.
Out of the 9 priests, three of them are celebrating their diamond jubilee of religious profession – they are Fr. Paul Kachapilly, Fr. Lionel Xavier who hails from Mandaveli and is a former parishioner of Our Lady of Guidance Church parish in R. A. Puram and Fr. Antony Kanichai, who is currently the primary school coordinator of St. Bede’s.
The four priests who are celebrating their golden jubilee of religious profession are Fr. Gregory Devarajan, Fr. Francis Xavier David, Fr. John Santhosam and Fr. Siby Kavilpuraidathil.
The priests who are celebrating 50 years of priestly ordination are Fr. Charles Panackel, Fr Paul Kachapilly and Fr. Lourdusamy Susai.
