CIT Residents Association, CIT Colony has its AGM on November 28 at 6 p.m. at the park on 5th Cross Street, CIT Colony.
Members say the association has been successful in setting up the park and the 10 grounds are a haven for senior citizens and children. Concerts have been arranged on the initiative of the residents on the last Sunday of the month.
A corner of the park has a table on which daily newspapers are available for people to read, Some magazines are also available and can be taken home to read at leisure and then returned. Balaguruvaiah, a resident has been trying to get more facilities.
V.T . Gopalan. former additional solicitor general and a senior resident of the colony has been invited to become president of the association for the next year, says T. V. Sekar, Secretary.
