The Madras Sanskrit College is celebrating Sanskrit Week from Oct.17 to 23.
The inaugural function will be held on Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. by Dr. S. Sankaranarayanan (Former Director, Adyar Library & Research Institute, Chennai).
The students of the College will participate in various competitions in Sanskrit throughout the week.
The valedictory function will be held on Oct.23 at 2.30 p.m. Dr. C.S. Radhakrishnan (Prof. & Head, Dept. of Sanskrit, Pondicherry University will preside and distribute the prizes.
