The annual teppam festival at Sri Kapali Temple is on January 15, 16 and 17, during the Pongal celebrations week.
The float will do the rounds of the water filled temple tank on all three evenings and as before, people will be allowed to watch it from the sidelines, seated on the steps.
The deities will be carried in a procession to the central mantap in the tank, on the R K Mutt Road side and taken into the float. Only guests and invitees will be allowed to also sit in the float.
