Guruguhaamrta is organizing a tribute to the departed legend Dr R K Srikantan (1920 -2014) on March 29 (Saturday) at 5 pm at Arkay Convention Centre, Mylapore.
The program will begin with a music homage to Srikantan by a few of his disciples followed by the launch of “Voice of a Generation” – a biography of the maestro authored by Ranjani Govind.
N Murali (President, Music Academy) will preside and release the book.
Umayalpuram K Sivaraman, R Vedavalli and V Ramnarayan (Editor-in-chief, Sruti) would be paying tributes to Srikantan. The programme would also feature a musical presentation on Srikantan.
